My Herb Experiment – Week 2

So it’s been a week since I transplanted my herbs and they’re not dead yet! Score one for me.

The pictures below show each herb right after transplantation next to how they look today, 8 days later. Until I saw the pics side by side, I really thought they had grown more than it looks like they did. I guess I’m just a proud parent over-exaggerating my little ones’ talents. Today I’m also going to be applying the first round of plant food, so we’ll see if that has any effect on their growth over the next week.

Note to self:  Try to frame the shots the same each week….sigh.

Basil
I won’t bore you with a picture of dirt, which is what my basil looked like last week. Instead I’ll just show you the picture from today.

Baby Basil

Can you see them?!?! Look closer!

Baby Basil Buds!

There are tiny ‘lil baby basil buds! I’m so proud of them and I tell them so every day.

Keep throwing any herb growing tips my way and we’ll check back next week!
